Simparica Trio Yellow 1.25-2.5kg Puppies (3 Pack) provides triple protection against fleas and ticks, intestinal worms and deadly heartworm disease. It is uniquely formulated with an optimised trio of ingredients, including sarolaner, pyrantel and moxidectin, for proven efficacy against parasites.

Simparica Trio provides treatment and control of fleas, ticks and gastrointestinal worms and the prevention of heartworm disease in dogs and puppies from 8 weeks of age.

Indications

• Rapidly kills fleas within 4 to 8 hours after treatment and is indicated for the treatment, control and prevention of flea (Ctenocephalides spp.) infestations.
• Breaks the flea life cycle by killing adult fleas before they can lay eggs, therefore eliminating the risk of further environmental infestation. The product controls Flea Allergy Dermatitis by controlling adult fleas.
• Treats and controls paralysis ticks (Ixodes holocyclus), brown dog ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus) and bush ticks (Haemaphysalis longicornis). Rapidly kills
  pre-existing paralysis tick infestations within 24 hours of treatment. In tick season, daily searching for and removal of any ticks found is recommended. Ixodes holocyclus ticks do not occur in Western Australia.
• Prevention of flea tapeworm infestations
• Treatment & control of generalised demoectic mange caused by Demodex spp. including D. canis mites
• Treatment & control of sarcoptic mange caused by Sarcoptes scabiei and improves clinical signs significantly
• Treatment & control of ear mites (Otodectes cynotis) infestations

Dosage and Administration

• For oral use. Chews (chewable tablets) can be administered with or without food.
• Simparica Trio is a tasty liver-flavoured chew which is readily consumed by the majority of dogs when offered as a treat.
• If the chew is not taken voluntarily by the dog, then it can also be given with a small amount of food or directly into the mouth.
• Simparica Trio should be administered monthly. One chew per month based on the appropriate variant by weight range for the dog.

• For optimal treatment and control of fleas and tick infestations, the product should be administered at regular monthly intervals.
• Treatment with Simparica Trio may begin at any time of the year and should continue without interruption all year round.
• To minimise the likelihood of flea re-infestation, it is important to treat all dogs and cats within the household.
• Treatment for heartworm should occur regularly at monthly intervals.

Safety Information

• Can be safely given to dogs from 1.25kg and 8 weeks of age.
• Can also be give safely to heartworm positive dogs.
• Well tolerated in avermectin sensitive dogs.
• Not recommended for use on puppies under 8 weeks old or weighing less than 1.25kg.
• The safe use of Simparica Trio has not been evaluated in breeding dogs and pregnant or lactating bitches.
• Simparica Trio has been shown to be safe in various breeds of dog across a broad weight range when administered according to the dosage schedule.
